28 year career pursuing substantial property
subrogation claims and defending first and
third-party claims relating to property loss.

He has litigated highly complex actions
involving: fires; water damage; electrical
service and gas service; construction defect;
builder’s risk; inland marine; bailment; common
carriers; jeweler’s block; boiler and machinery
Labor Law; and products liability issues.

Mr. Christofides is a frequent speaker at
seminars lecturing to insurance professionals at
the Property Loss Research Bureau, the College
of Insurance in New York and at seminars given
by the New York State and New York City Bar
Associations.
He has presented on numerous property
topics including subrogation, spoliation of
evidence, cause and origin investigation,
investigation and defense of arson and fraud
claims and the handling of first party insurance
claims.
