  Representative Experience:

  • Mr. Kamlet has over 30 years of trial experience.

  • He started his career in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office where, for 7 years, he handled white-collar investigations and trials, as well as appeals. 

  • In civil practice, Mr. Kamlet has had extensive experience in toxic tort litigation including asbestos, lead poisoning, and mold claims.

  • He has spent a major portion of his career defending all aspects of premises liability, construction accidents, products liability, and transportation claims.

  • He has also developed expertise in large property damage subrogation claims.

  •  Mr. Kamlet’s devotion to detail during all phases of litigation, from inception through trial, has allowed him to better counsel his clients and obtain favorable outcomes on their behalf, both from an indemnity and expense perspective, by negotiating settlements from a position of strength.

  • Ever mindful of the costs of protracted litigation, Mr. Kamlet targets appropriate cases for early resolution and has had great success obtaining the cooperation of the plaintiff's bar in altering historically counter-productive attitudes.

  • Alternative dispute resolution is also an important adjunct to Mr. Kamlet's approach.

  • Mr. Kamlet has tried a multitude of cases to verdict, and brings a reputation in the legal community as a formidable trial adversary to the negotiating table as well.
