Experience:

Mr. Miller began his legal career as an
Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx
District Attorney's Office
where he participated in criminal trials,
prepared and argued appeals and presented cases
to the Grand Jury.

In 1981, he left the District Attorney’s office
and joined a law firm engaged in insurance
practice. Over the last 26 years, Irwin
has successfully tried automotive and
transportation defense cases, general liability
case including premises liability, Labor Law
cases and products liability cases in virtually
every venue in New York State.

Significantly, Mr. Miller has been the
supervising partner in handling defense cases on
behalf of a variety of insurance carriers and
self-insureds.

His meticulous case preparation and retention of
experts has resulted in numerous defense
verdicts at trial, negotiation of favorable
settlements and summary judgment on behalf of
his clients.

Mr. Miller has cultivated the respect of the
members of the judiciary in New York State as
well as the plaintiff's Bar, as a result of his
aggressive defense of cases and his thoroughness
and diligence in preparing cases for trial.

evaluation results in successful resolution of

Mr. Miller makes presentations to insurance
professionals regarding developments in the New
York No-Fault Law, medical/legal issues,
including the significance of herniated discs,
and the analysis of liability and damages
