Glenn A. Jacobson, Partner
A founding member of the firm, Mr. Jacobson has been litigating and trying cases to verdict in the New York and New Jersey state and federal courts for more than 35 years. He successfully has briefed and argued appeals in the New York Appellate Division, First, Second and Forth Departments, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits.Mr. Jacobson regularly defends products liability, liquor law liability, premises liability, asbestos, transportation and significant property damage and first-party actions.
Further, in recognition of the growing importance of alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Jacobson has enhanced the negotiating skills gained through years of practical experience by attending numerous advanced courses in mediation and negotiation offered by various bar associations and New York University.
Mr. Jacobson is a past, two term President of the Jewish Lawyers Guild, is a member of the Board of Directors of the New York City Trial Lawyers Alliance and has served as a member of the Independent Civil Court Judicial Screening Panel.
In recognition of his service to the Harmonie Group as liason, Member on its Board of Directors and as Chairman of its Marketing Committee, Mr. Jacobson has served as president of the Harmonie Group for the 2015-2017 term.
